Sicily, a living and vital land in which we have spent a part of our family life. We went back in 2020 to visit it better and review some of its cultural, landscape and architectural treasures.
Nightly ferry ride from Civitavecchia to Termini Imerese, first four days in Palermo (one of them spent for visiting the beautiful toen of Cefalù) then we moved  to Trapani for a  visit of the archeological area of Segesta, the wonderful city of Erice and the salt pans of Trapani and Marsala.
A day dedicated to the archaeological area of Selinunte
Then we reach the city of Agrigento for a visit of the beautiful Valley of the Temples. during the stay we hav also visited the famous “stairs of the Turks” a limestone promontory that slopes towards the sea with its large white steps
Two nights spent in Piazza Armerina to go and admire the Roman villa “Del Casale” with its beautiful preserved mosaics and the archaeological area of Morgantina
Then towards Catania (we left the southern tip of the island with the beautiful Gela, Licata, Ragusa and Syracuse for a next visit.)

A couple of days on the slopes of Etna for visit Catania and then a tranfer to Messina for take the ferry to return home
