Travel of all respect in the land of Manco Kapac , Peru is a magical alchemy between human and nature ‘s masterpieces . His many cultures have left their mark .

We left Lima and as a first step we visited the Ballestas Islands ( natural oasis not far from the coast of Paracas ) and then arrive at Nasca where we were able to do the overflight of his famous lines . The second leg took us from Arequipa to Nasca along the Panamericana Sur through the desert coast to the border with Ecuador, nearby of Camana we began to climb towards the Andes to reach Arequipa where we stopped for a day and visited the monastery of Santa Catilina . We then went to Puno ( 3800 meters) on the shores of Lake Titicaca . We made a visit to the Uros tribe of Aymara culture who live on the lake and made numerous floating islands on whom they build their homes.

We moved from Puno to Cusco ( Navel of the World ) via Sillustani which is a pre-Inca necropolis ( Andean Tiauaco’s culture ), the de la Raya pass ( 4300 meters above sea level ) , the church of Andahuaylilla called the Sistine Chapel of the Andes ( and as in the Sistine Chapel you can’t take pictures … ), the ruins of the temple dedicated to Viracocha with the arrival of a Cusco in the evening.

The next day visit to the ruins of the Sacred Valley of the Incas ( along the Urubamba River ) visiting the ruins of Pisac and fortress of Ollantaytambo . The next day we went to visit Tambomachay , Pucapuca , and the fortress of Sacsayhwaman .

Before leaving Cusco , we have dedicated a whole day to visit the ruins of Macu Picchu with wake up at dawn, transfer to the train panoramic and spectacular view of the peak of Machu Picchu and its ruins.

We have back to Lima with a flight for the last visit of the Peruvian capital.
