Wake up early in the morning, hearty breakfast and departure for the New Zealand capital. A short tour of the Wellington esplanade with a stop to look for Penguins and Sea Lions, not so lucky… on the other hand we enjoyed beautiful views and landscapes. Short stop to eat something and then run off to visit the wonderful Te Papa museum with its collections and rooms dedicated to the children’s learning. A trip on the Cable Car to the botanical garden and then back to the hotel walking through the a dark and dense vegetation. Wake up at dawn in the morning, the ferry to the South Island awaits us and a long day to reach Collingwood on the Golden Bay.
