Intermediate step towards the end of our wonderful trip. Elisa as we headed to the city of Tauranga has found an interesting place to visit just a few kilometers from our hotel.So we decide to spend our day visiting Mount Maunganui a summit of 232 meters with paths and trails between sheep and breathtaking views of the sea, long sandy cliffs below. We had spent three unforgettable hours in a day really good both the point of view of good time spent and from the fine weather.
Coming back we stopped for a walk on the beautiful promenade in front of the Strand (shops and restaurants) We also bought a handful of New Zealand green mussels that tonight will end up in the spaghetti.
Wake up early tomorrow. We start to visit the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.
