We start from Whangarei calmly to reach Taipa, a town at the foot of the Karikari Peninsula, from which we will depart for Cape Reinga northest site of New Zealand (accessible by car and / or feet) and to explore the huge sand dunes and its beach known as 90 Miles Beach. First of all, we stop to look at the Whangarei Falls that during the rainy night were greatly enlarged, then we head to the Bay of Islands where we want to visit the Waitangi site where in 1840 the treaty for the transfer of sovereignty north island from the Maori Chiefs to the British was signed. Left Waitangi while everything around us moves slowly we arrive in the village of Taipa where we expect a good night’s rest.
