One day, about the end of August 2017, browsing the British Airways travel site, we looked for offers to spend the New Year eve in Cancun (Mexico) and we found a vacation package that included: return flight and ten days in an all-inclusive hotel in Riviera Maya, the Occidental at Xcaret hotel of the Barcelo chain. We also booked in consideration that BA allows you to stop the package with 10% of the amount and then leaves you free to pay the remaining amount before one month of departure.
Flight Rome Gatwick and then Heathrow Cancun, a large and comfortable room in a horizontal type complex hotel, surrounded by the greenery of a tropical forest, with all-inclusive service.
We have been relaxed also taking advantage from the inclusive offer of free admission, for the entire period of stay, to the nearby interactive Xcaret park where it was possible to attend a lot of shows, interact with sharks, dolphins and turtles, walks underwater, swim in the freshwater canals that unite several cenote and many other activities.
We also purchased a day trip to Chichen Itza with transport, italian language guide and an included lunch.
New Year’s Eve dinner with entertainment and we came back with a few extra pounds …
