Wake up and departure at dawn to reach the Franz Ioseph Glacier. A location at the foot of the New Zealand Alps, famous for being a stone’s throw from one of New Zealand’s two perennial glaciers, Fox and Franz Ioseph (an Austrian discovered it and called it “Cecco Peppe” what a fantasy !!!).

Along the way we meet, see and visit beautiful beaches and cliffs and we stop in Punakaiiki to see the “Pancake Rocks” famous for their evident and visible stratification and for the intricate set of gorges and tunnels from which the sea, entering and exiting, creates games of beautiful foam and noise. In the evening we arrive at Franz Ioseph, have dinner and collapse on the bed unconscious
See you tomorrow
