Canada is a huge country where you can find truly incredible places, flora and fauna. We planned this trip well in advance, a British Airways return flight Rome – Vancouver, a rental car and then an itinerary that included the following stops:

Vancouver for a couple of days, Victoria (on Vancouver Island), Ucluelet (Tofino) and the Pacific Rim, Quadra Island for a relaxing stop, Port Hardy to take the ferry to cruise the Inner Passage then Bella Coola , Kleena Kleen and 100 Miles to reach the Rocky Mountains, three days in Jasper National Park and then another three in Banff Nature Park Then return to Vancouver via the cities of Radium Hot Spring famous for its thermal waters and Osoyoos crossing huge plantations of fruit.
2017, however, was a tragic year in British Columbia for the woods, we realized it while boarding the ferry for the cruise when a kind lady, looking at our ticket, advised us that our destination, Bella Coola , did not allow to move inland because all the roads had been closed due to fires. Momentary panic, quick change of plans with the extension of the cruise to the border with Alaska and a frantic search for a couple of hotels that would allow us to reach Jasper Park on schedule. Before boarding we had the hotels booked with stops at Prince Rupert (port of arrival of the Inner passage cruise) and Prince George along the way to Jasper Park.

a truly exciting journey for those who love nature in all its aspects and facets. Mountains, animals, trees and flowers, breathtaking landscapes, turquoise lakes, brown and cold sea with Orcas, Whales and Dolphins to be the masters

Let’s try to tell you about it step by step with short descriptions and some photographs of the 13,000 done
